Sadness loaded, but that’s what made it beautiful. Sweetness spread so uncontrollably that it ended up heartbreaking.

Such a wonderful experience reading an excellent book in two different languages(the Chinese edition and English edition).
It’s never easy to say which language version is better, and it’s absolutely unnecessary to do that ‘cause both of them make you feel the power of words and show you how does the award-winning South Korean author Han Kang tell a cruel, barbaric, disturbing, and heartbreaking story with the poignant, elegant, serene, and frank but gentle tone.
You won’t get furious ‘cause all the crimsons are covered with white, you’d get goosebumps when you discover all the crimsons are wrapped in white.
