I was expecting to read the writer\’s own paranormal experiences because it\’s in the same series of the first 2 books. But it\’s a totally different genre, it\’s all about relationship and love.
It should not be grouped into the same series because I don\’t really want to read about how to build affectionate relationship when I buy a book to spook myself at night. Feel cheated...
Author tries to teach Chinese Medicine using every day words, fun to read, easy to understand, could read it again and again to learn about our culture, medicine and be grateful for the knowledge passes on by generations.
It\’s always important to hold on to traditional Chinese, after reading this book would reinforce this belief and it\’s a surprise that the author is from Mainland.
Apologise that I don\’t have Chinese input and have to write this in English.
The main focus of this book is about avoiding food groups namely dairy, grains, legumes, eggs and sugar. These foods either causes inflammation, allergic reaction or fluctuation of insulin level which we should all avoid or take in moderation.
These were all well researched topics but this book made it sound like a \’new personal\’ discovery and took her years of training to find out.
Throw in a few chinese herbal recipes and perspective, and with celebrity endorsements, this book is a very well marketed product.
There are many more good books on diet and nutrition, even some health blogs provide much more valuable and in depth information for free. I regret this purchase.
