The saying goes, "You have to pay the cost to be a boss."
At eighteen, Destiny seemed to have her entire life together, thriving in her first semester at UOM on scholarship, with hopes of making it to the WNBA. However, like everybody who’s out to make money in Memphis, Destiny lands in trouble with a professional NBA player by the name of D. Wallace. He gives her a shot at the good life but being the woman of a ball player comes with rules. When the relationship goes from good to nothing, Destiny must learn how to make it in the world alone by playing life by her rules. However, Destiny soon realizes that she must make bigger moves and sort out major plans to make more money. Then she lands in the presence of Jackson, a man who is a friend of the rich and fortunate. Jackson makes big promises and finds a doorway into Destiny’s heart. After being hurt once, Destiny isn’t too thrilled with the way she falls head over heels for Jackson. But to her, money always had the privilege of talking, and that’s what she was after. Follow Destiny as she learns the value of family, the evil that comes with money, and what is required to keep her status.
