爵士百老匯音樂劇一開始是可米特．魯芬斯(Kermit Ruffins)以紐奧良風格演唱"Ain't Misbehaving'", 這首是因為另一位新月城(Crescent City, 紐奧良外號)的小喇叭手路易斯．阿姆斯壯演唱過而受歡迎。 音樂劇的第二首是女歌手麥欣．蘇麗文(Maxine Sullivan)以她柔滑聲樂的風格演唱艾靈頓公爵的" I Got It Bad, and That Ain't Good"。 然後是藍調傳奇人物吉米．T-99．尼爾森(Jimmy "T-99" Nelson)流暢的表演百老匯最成功音樂劇中的一首"酒店, Cabaret", 並提醒我們人生如酒店故事。

Broadway Jazz opens with Kermit Ruffins' New Orleans-style take on "Ain't Misbehavin'," a song that owes a big part of its success to another Crescent City trumpet player, Louis Armstrong. Act 2 of our musical revue highlights the silky vocal styling of Maxine Sullivan performing Duke Ellington's "I Got It Bad, and That Ain't Good." Blues legend Jimmy "T-99" Nelson reminds us that life is a "Cabaret" with his smooth performance of the title track from one of Broadway's most successful musicals.

​Legendary saxophone player Sonny Rollins delivers a moving instrumental version of a classic with his 1957 version of "I've Grown Accustomed to Your Face" from My Fair Lady. Our night at the theater concludes with a double-header from the late, great Peggy Lee who sings two classics from Oklahoma, "People Will Say We're in Love" and the closes the album with "Oh, What a Beautiful Morning."
