17歲的音樂天才黃家正具有天縱神才的魅力，然而在其自負近乎傲慢的態度下，他的笑容中卻總帶有一絲憂鬱：11歲的他就以鋼琴神童之姿拿下香港校際鋼琴大獎、遠赴倫敦與捷克巡迴演出，但他卻痛恨比賽、厭惡功利，週遭的人對他又愛又怕，卻又心儀而信服他超凡的天才魅力。黃家正自己卻最憎恨那些「天才」的頭銜，只想要做一個真正的「人」！從七歲起，他便開始質疑音樂之於自己人生的意義，直到現在，17歲的他還是持續在追尋答案…

KJ is a biography of a HK musical genius. At the age of 11, KJ won the Best Pianist and went to Crech to perform with a professional orchestra. Touching on subjects such as the meaning of life, God and the artistic process, the director’s 6-year-conversations with KJ reveal how a young man inspires by his music teacher, Nancy Loo and his conflict with his peers and parents. KJ is not about the victory of a genius, but how he learns to be a “human being".
