作者簡介

　　Francesca Cavallo was born in Taranto (Southern Italy) in 1983. She grew up in Italy, graduated with high honors at the University of Milan and got an MFA at the Academy of Dramatic Art "Paolo Grassi" in stage directing. She founded her own theater company and toured Italy, Germany and Switzerland with her award-winning plays.

　　In 2012, she moved to California with her partner Elena Favilli to co-found a children’s media startup called "Timbuktu Labs, Inc.". At Timbuktu, Francesca serves as the creative director. For Timbuktu, she authored 7 picture books translated in more than 15 languages.
