　　古斯塔夫是一隻鬼，他擅長各種超自然的事，不管是穿牆、讓東西飛起來，或是在黑暗中發光，這些通通難不倒他。他還很會拉小提琴，演奏美妙的音樂。可是古斯塔夫有個大煩惱，那就是他很害羞，不敢跟其他鬼說話。他嘗試各種方法想接近其他鬼，比如變身鬼怪氣球，或是變成曬衣繩上飄揚的白色床單，但就算古斯塔夫就在其他鬼的面前，就是沒有其他鬼看見他。古斯塔夫好想交朋友，於是他鼓起全部的勇氣，寫了一封信：「親愛的怪獸們，我想要在死亡派對之日，邀請你們來我的小提琴演奏會。」演奏會能順利進行，幫助古斯塔夫交到朋友嗎？
