內容簡介

If you want to prevent conflicts and tantrums and to raise a happy child without stress, then keep reading...

Let’s face it, parenting is tough. Especially during toddlerhood, when your beloved baby grows up and becomes uncontrollable, unpredictable, and super-emotional. Tantrums, aggression, and behavioral problems can frighten you, but don’t panic! Stay happy and positive. This book covers the most effective strategies and solutions to deal with behavioral problems, prevent tantrums, and save your child’s trust and love.

This book covers the following topics:

- Evaluate those generational patterns and models

- Parental Stress Management

- How to be a positive and mindful parent and reach a guilt-free discipline

- The common mistakes that parents make and how to fix them

- Establishing respect

- Tools for more cooperative children

- How to coach siblings’ relationships and rivalry

- The importance of the right nutrition

- ...And Much More!

Change the way you discipline your toddler today, and experience more joy and happiness in your home.

Raising children can be an immensely fun and rewarding experience but it rarely comes without any problems. Every parent faces them at some stage, but it is how you handle each one that makes the difference between a child that is well adjusted and one that is not.

I bought this for my sister who hates to read but is dealing with the start of the terrible two’s and seems to have trouble with discipline because of our upbringing. She said it’s easy to read and was helpful from the get go. Her sons behavior improved noticeably in a few days once she (and her husband) were on the same page with a strategy instead of the mish mash of what they were doing before that was not working at all.

If you want to practice respectful parenting, read this book. Time outs don't work, punishments and rewards don't work...this works. It's not 100%, and sometimes you have to get creative and really tap the well of your patience, but that's parenting a toddler. I just wish this book were longer and had even more examples, but I can just go on Janet Lansbury's website I suppose.

A friend recommended this book to me and I am so very grateful. My newly turned 3-year-old son, who has pretty much been a very independent sleeper from early in his life, suddenly began an intense phase of separation anxiety at bedtime about 2 weeks ago. I'm 36 weeks pregnant with his little brother and his father and I have been absolutely tearing our hair out, trying to figure out what to do and what happened to our easy-going little one. This book addresses these type of issues very thoroughly and also has a very important section on looking at ourselves and our own backgrounds as parents to see how our own upbringing affects how we interact with our children.
