Maurice, my husband, was born in Belgium. In 1983 he was injured at work up North in Canada and had to undergo surgery.
The events following his injury propelled me into a series of circumstances resulting in my taking a course in 1989 in the U.S.A. I was lead into a hypnotic trance, and found myself in a past life as a nurse on the front line. It was in 1917 during World War I, in the Flanders Fields, where the bright red poppies, the coquelicots, grow. While holding an injured soldier in my arms after his surgery, he looked at me and in his last breath, he said, ’" I wish you will be my wife" and died. It took until 2022 to discover the complete series of events, adventure, drama and romance included. All revealing the reason I am the way I am now. Anny Slegten
