This story is an account of one man’s application to living the principles of karma according to his own interpretation. It comes from living experiences of decades of good, bad and indifferent circumstance of his life, the lesson learnt in the getting of wisdom in the manner of living life in accord to certain principles as a consequence. Karma, or Ka: me, is not a verb it’s a noun. That is, it is not a doing word, its the name of a ’thing.’ Hindu and Buddhist religious, based on the philosophy of Buddha define it as [’ the sum of a persons’ actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences.’] This might simply be stated in a western psychological sense as good or bad luck, viewed as a result of one’s actions.
Karma is real and present in our lives. It’s a kind of mystical, magical energy that we can’t always understand through our linear, logical half brain notion of who we really are and what life is all about. You may take the viewpoints herein or depend upon your own experience of different ideals on how karma applies or doesn’t apply in your life. It is entirely up to you to consider the fore and against of ’the laws of karma’ as applied in this story.
