Arpan Deyasi, PhD, is presently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in RCC Institute of Information Technology, India. He has more than 15 years of professional experience in academia and industry. He is working in the area of semiconductor nanostructures, semiconductor photonics, and embedded system design using IoT. He is a senior member of IEEE, a member of the International Society for Technology in Education, OSI, Institution of Engineers (India), and Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, and is presently serving as a Secretary of the Electron Device Society, Kolkata Section. He has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed papers in reputed journals and conferences and has served as co-editor of six books and guest editor of two journals.
Angsuman Sarkar, PhD, is presently serving as Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Kalyani Government Engineering College, West Bengal, India. His current research interests include the study of short channel effects of sub 100 nm MOSFETs and nanodevice modeling and system-on-chip design. He has authored more than 225 publications in the form of books and research papers in national and international refereed journals and conferences. Dr. Sarkar has delivered invited talks, tutorial speeches, and expert talks at various international conferences and technical programs. He has also organized IEEE international conferences and several workshops and seminars. He is a life member of the International Society for Technology in Education and the Institution of Engineers (India) and a senior member of IEEE, where he is the immediate past Chair of the Electron Device Society, Kolkata Section, India. He is a member of the boards of editors and a reviewer for several international journals. He is currently supervising several PhD scholars and has already guided five students successfully as principal supervisor. He received his MTech in VLSI and microelectronics from Jadavpur University, India. He completed his PhD at Jadavpur University in 2013.
Soumen Santra, MTech, is presently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Techno International Newtown, India. He has more than 10 years of professional experience in academics. He is Microsoft-certified dot net professional and Sun Microsystem-certified JAVA professional. He is working in the area of deep learning-based embedded system and circuit design. He has published more than 50 research papers in journals and conferences of repute.
