Kaleidoscope: An Eclectic Collection

Ranging from wildly fantastical to introspective; from inspirational to experiential; from sacred to secular; and from poetic to just the facts, the piece presented in this book offer glimpses into the hearts, minds, imaginations, and experiences of the students, parents, teachers, pastors, and supporters of Family Worship Center Academy as they live out their lives and their faith in the swirling cultural waters of 2023-2024.

Some of the contributors whose work populates these pages are children; others are teens, working adults, or senior citizens. Together, their eclectic writings form a colorful kaleidoscope of ideas. They offer their thoughts, memories, dreams, fears, and fantasies as a unique snapshot in the ever-changing, ever-growing mosaics of their lives.

Surely such a book published last year or next year or five years from now would present a different image, as the complex patterns of their experiences and understandings continue to move and swirl, incessantly bending their reflections through and around each other.
