Terence K.S. Wong received his B.A. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Cambridge in 1987 and 1992, respectively. From 1992-1994, he was a lecturer at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He joined the Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 1994 and is presently a tenured associate professor. His current research interests are in photovoltaic devices (organic and inorganic) and electrocatalytic materials for green hydrogen generation by water electrolysis. His earlier research interests were mainly in nanofabrication, organic electronics, silicon nanoelectronic devices, and multilevel copper interconnects. This work has been supported by several research grants.
Vinod Kiran Kappala received his M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Communication and Networks from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India, in the years 2015 and 2022, respectively. Currently, he is working as an assistant professor in the School of Electronics Engineering (SENSE), VIT-AP University, Andhra Pradesh, India. His research interests include optical wireless communication, free space optics, optical networking, and embedded systems.
