Quintin Charles Devenish Lawson (born 17 September 1959), is an actor from Northern Ireland who is best known for playing Jim McDonald on the long running ITV soap opera Coronation Street. His work includes performing with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford, tread the boards in the National Theatre and Old Vic and work with a host of celebrated actors and directors in ground-breaking productions like Harry’s Game, Mike Leigh’s Four Days in July and alongside Gary Oldman in Alan Clarke’s The Firm.
