Jamila Rowser is an Afro-Latina, Queer, Disabled, and award-winning writer, editor, and publisher of the award-winning Black Josei Press. She is known for her debut graphic novel, Wash Day Diaries, co-created with Robyn Smith, which won the LA Times Book Prize, an Ignatz Award, and an Alex Award from YALSA/ALA, and was nominated for an Eisner Award.
