Jamila Rowser is an Afro-Latina, Queer, Disabled, and award-winning writer, editor, and publisher of the award-winning Black Josei Press. She is known for her debut graphic novel, Wash Day Diaries, co-created with Robyn Smith, which won the LA Times Book Prize, an Ignatz Award, and an Alex Award from YALSA/ALA, and was nominated for an Eisner Award. Asiah Fulmore is a freelance illustrator who currently lives in Columbia, SC. After graduating from Winthrop University in 2018, she completed a Master Class program under comic illustrator Sanford Greene at Benedict College--where she is now a teacher’s assistant. Since then she has celebrated two comic releases: Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld with DC Comics, and Family Time with Lily and Robert Windom.
